Elizabeth (Liz) moved to the Northern Rivers region when she was 14 years old. Initially, she commenced a law and environmental science double degree at Southern Cross University, before gaining entry into Medicine at the University of Newcastle. She completed her residency training with the Hunter New England Area Health Service, before obtaining her fellowship with the RACGP in 2012. She also holds a Clinical Diploma in Palliative Medicine from the RACP.
At Summerland Skin Cancer Clinic, Liz is the practice manager, for which she holds a Diploma of Practice Management.
