Kerrie completed her Bachelor of Nursing in 1994 at The University of Canberra, and since that time has been working as a Registered Nurse in both the public and private hospital sectors, specialising in Surgical Nursing. In 2014, Kerrie also completed a Graduate Diploma in Cosmetic Nursing from the Australian Academy of Cosmetic Dermal Science to gain more knowledge in regards to cosmetic and skin procedures.

Over the last seven years, Kerrie has been employed with a plastic surgeon on the Gold Coast, who specialises in skin cancer surgery.  Kerrie and her family have recently moved to East Ballina for a sea change, where she has joined Dr Hicks’ team at Summerland Skin Cancer Clinic as the Practice Nurse.

Since moving to the Northern NSW area, Kerrie is busy designing their new house to be built shortly and spending time at the nearby beaches.  Her hobbies include bootcamp to keep fit, stand up paddle boarding, ten pin bowling, spending time with her family and pets, and also the new challenge of dragon boat racing.

Kerrie looks forward to working alongside Dr Hicks and his team at Summerland Skin Cancer Clinic and providing the utmost in nursing care to patients.
